FAQ

Why should I stake with Chainflow? +

Because we’re independent, transparent, and focused on decentralization. We don’t cut side deals or prioritize whales. Every delegator counts equally and your delegation keeps Sui’s voting power distributed.

How do I unstake (undelegate) my SUI? +

Unstake in your wallet. On Sui, staking/unstaking actions take effect at the next epoch (about 24 hours). You only earn rewards for epochs where your stake was active for the entire epoch.

How much SUI can I stake? +

No fixed min/max from us. Stake any amount; we treat all delegators equally.

How long do I need to stake for? +

You’re in control. There’s no multi-week lock, just the epoch boundary. You can remain staked indefinitely, and when you choose to exit, your unstake completes at the next epoch.

After staking, I can't see my SUI, where did it go? +

Your SUI is wrapped into a self-custodial stake object that records the validator pool and activation epoch; wallets show liquid vs. staked balances separately.

Is my SUI safe? +

Yes. Staking is non-custodial - you keep your keys. Today, staked principal on Sui is not slashed; instead, a validator’s rewards can be reduced by the network’s tallying rule for poor/malicious performance. Choosing a reliable validator like Chainflow helps protect your rewards.

How consistent is the staking yield? +

Rewards are calculated per epoch and depend on network parameters and validator performance. You can claim and re-stake to compound; rewards accrue only for full epochs in which your stake is active.

What are the tech specs of the validator? +

Our Sui validator runs on enterprise-grade custom hardware:

  • CPU: AMD EPYC 7443P 24 core @ 2.8GHz
  • RAM: 128 GB

This ensures high throughput handling, maximum uptime, and consistent rewards.
